Asparagus with Jalapeno and Garlic Crumb topping Recipe

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2lbAsparagus
- 2tbspButter, salted
- 1pepperJalapeno Peppers
- 1 1/2tspGarlic
- 8tbspBasil
- 0 1/8cupAlmond Flour or Meal
- 2TbspParmesan Cheese, grated
DIRECTIONS
- Steam asparagus in a double boiler over medium-high heat for about 4 minutes till bright green in color and still crisp.
- Metl butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced jalapeno and garlic; cook 30 seconds, until garlic is lightly golden. Add the almond meal and continue to cook for another minute. Remove from pan, toss with minced basil and allow to cool slightly. Once cooled add the parmesan cheese.
- Top asparagus with the crumb mixture and serve immediately.
