Beef Sauteed with Vegetables Over Romaine Recipe

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2lbGround Beef (80% Lean / 20% Fat)
- 0 1/4cup, choppedOnions
- 0 1/4cup, choppedGreen Sweet Pepper
- 15ozTomato Sauce (Canned)
- 4tbspTomato Paste
- 3teaspoonSucralose Based Sweetener (Sugar Substitute)
- 6cup shreddedCos or Romaine Lettuce
- 6ozCheddar Cheese
DIRECTIONS
- Brown the beef in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onions and peppers during the last few minutes of browning.
- Drain off excess fat from the skillet and add the tomato sauce, tomato paste and granular sugar substitute and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Allow to simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
- Serve immediately over shredded Romaine topped with Cheddar.
