INGREDIENTS

  • 4fl ozSauvignon Blanc Wine
  • 2TbspXylitol
  • 1tspGinger
  • 1tspCinnamon
  • 3medium (2-1/2" dia) (approx 4 per lb)Peaches
  • 6ozBlackberries
  • 0 1/2tspThick-It-Up

DIRECTIONS

This sauce is delicious over lemon ice cream or pancakes.
  1. Combine the wine, granular sugar substitute, ginger, ground cinnamon and peaches in a medium sauce pan.  Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low and simmer for about 15 minutes until very tender.  Add the blackberries and Thick-It-Up; continue to simmer for another 5 minutes.  
  2. Take off heat and cool to room temperature or serve warm.  Maybe be refrigerated for up to 1 week.  Makes 3 cups; 1 serving = 1/4 cup.
