INGREDIENTS
- 2medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 per lb)Apples
- 3tbsp choppedChipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
- 1 1/4lbGround Turkey
- 11ozTurkey Sausage
- 0 1/2tspGarlic
- 1tspSalt
- 6slice (1 oz)Cheddar Cheese
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat a grill or use a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Grate the apple and finely dice the chipotle peppers.
- Combine the apple, chipotle, ground turkey, turkey sausage, garlic and salt. Mix together until thoroughly mixed then form into 6 patties.
- Grill or fry with oil until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear; about 6 minutes per side. Place cheese on top and allow to melt for 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately.
