INGREDIENTS

  • 14nutsHAZELNUTS Rocky Mountain Foods, Inc.
  • 0 1/4tspVanilla Extract
  • 1eachAtkins Dark Chocolate Royale Shake

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place chopped hazelnuts, vanilla (can substitute hazelnut extract for more hazelnut flavor) and 1/3 of the shake into a blender and blend on high until creamy and all the hazelnuts have been broken down; about 30 seconds.  Add the remaining shake and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a sauce pan and heat gently over medium heat while stirring until hot but not boiling.  Pour into a mug and enjoy with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
Note:  This may also be heated in a microwave but do so at 30 second intervals as it will foam with heating and may overflow your cup.
