INGREDIENTS

  • 2ozMozzarella Cheese, fresh balls
  • 1eachEgg
  • 2tablespoonAlmond Meal, from whole almonds
  • 0 1/4tspBaking Powder
  • 1tbspMaple Syrup (sugar-free)
  • 1teaspoonConfectioners (powdered) erythritol
  • 1teaspoonGinger root, fresh gated

DIRECTIONS

Ingredient note: If you do not have fresh ginger, you can use ¼ teaspoon powdered ginger.
  1. Preheat a 4 slice waffle iron.
  2. Shred the cheese. In a small bowl, use a fork to combine all ingredients. Pour about ¼ cup batter into the center of each waffle section and press down. Cook using manufactures instructions, 3-6 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy. Remove from the waffle iron and let cool before consuming.
