INGREDIENTS

  • 2thin sliceRed Onions
  • 1tbspRed Wine Vinegar
  • 1tspXylitol
  • 6ozGround Turkey 93/7
  • 2tbspReal Mayonnaise
  • 0 1/2tsp choppedChipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
  • 3cup (47.3g)Mixed Baby Greens
  • 1thick/large slice (1/2" thick)Tomatoes

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat a grill or prepare a non-stick skillet with a little oil over medium-high heat.  Cut the onion into smaller strips and place them in a bowl with the vinegar and sugar substitute.  Set aside. 
  2. Season the ground turkey with salt and freshly ground black pepper then form it into a burger.  Grill or pan-fry the burger until it is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear.
  3. Make the aioli by combining the mayonnaise and chipotle in a small bowl. Set aside. 
  4. Toss the salad greens with 1 Tbsp olive oil and 1 Tbsp lemon juice and place onto a serving plate.  Top with the burger layered with the slice of tomato, onions (drain off the liquid first and discard it), and aioli.
